We took on the role of Health and Safety Coordinator for the World Tour production for the US indoor shows throughout 2016 and then the stadium shows in Australia and New Zealand in 2017 culminating in the UK Wembley Stadium record breaking 98,000 capacity shows. Our responsibilities included the provision of the tour Health and Safety Policy, risk assessments, review of contractor method statements and on-going tour liaison. Additionally, for the Wembley shows, we produced the promoter Event Safety Management Plan and Construction Phase Plan including venue and contractor liaison both prior to and during the show period.
Sir Elton John (also 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006)
Since 2006, we have had the privilege to work on Sir Elton's outdoor summer shows at football stadia and other outdoor locations around the UK. Extensively involved, working with all relevant agencies and the venues at the planning stage, we compile and provide the key information to the authorities, including licence application where necessary. We put the event management systems into place and then oversee during each show creating a safe and successful event.
Concert At The Kings (also 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012)
Not many events can boast this many headline acts from the previous shows: Alison Moyet, Wilko Johnson, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Brian May, Roger Taylor, Jeff Beck, Mike and the Mechanics, Midge Ure, 10CC, The SAS Band with special guests, The Boomtown Rats, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, The Sweet, Patti Russo, Kerry Ellis, Benny Gallagher, Chris Thompson, The Fabbagirls, Kiki Dee, Madeline Bell, Tom Robinson, Suzi Quatro, Big Country, Marmalade, The Queen Extravaganza's Marc Martel, Dr Feelgood, The Blues Band, The Troggs, The Straits, Los Pacaminos, Georgie Fame, The Strawbs and Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich. Hosted by Bob Harris, Mike Read and Dan Chisholm - and all playing on hot, sunny days in a small village in Wiltshire.

Over £170,000 raised for multiple charities so far, it's just great to be a part of team!
Lionel Richie 2016
After the success of Lionel's appearance at Glastonbury in 2015, Lionel performed sell out-out shows at stadia around the UK. Working again for Marshall Arts we coordinated with all venues and agencies during both the planning and event stages. The shows were phenomenally successful!
Rihanna 2016
We took on the role of Health and Safety Coordinator for the European leg of the World Tour. Our responsibilities included the provision of the tour Health and Safety Policy, risk assessments, review of contractor method statements and on-going tour liaison. We specifically also took on the local authority liaison for the Italian shows including the sell-out show at the San Siro.
Queen of The South Presents... Status Quo 2015
One of the biggest concerts to take place in Dumfries, we worked closely with the management of the football club to organise this very successful event at the stadium. Whilst we planned and managed the event, the club marketed the event and sold the tickets. Working closely with the agencies from the licence application stage onwards, the show was incredibly well received by all.
Western Lakes Home and Garden Show 2015 and 2014
In excess of 50,000 people enjoyed a sunny May weekend on the harbour mingling with a magnificent host of celebrities from the world of homes, gardens and cookery. Our special guests included: Jean-Christophe Novelli; Charlie Dimmock, Anna Rider Richardson; Linda Barker; Peter Sidwell, Sean Wilson; Oz Clarke; James Wong. The show featured an Antiques Roadshow, Cookery Theatre, BBC Gardeners Question-time, Continental Market, and many street traders and performers.
Glasgow 2014
We provided spectator safety management expertise for two of the sports - shooting and diving.

All Glasgow 2014 shooting events took place at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre, which sits within the Ministry of Defence's training camp, located in Carnoustie on Scotland's beautiful east coast. The existing full bore range, three temporary shotgun ranges and enclosed ranges comprising of a temporary combined 10/50 metre range and a temporary 25 metre range were set up to accommodate the sport and spectators. The ranges are located close to the world famous golf courses at Carnoustie and sit amid dramatic scenery, surrounded by windswept dunes where the fresh water of the River Tay meets the sea. Suffice to say, this venue had it's own unique challenges (more than usual)!

Edinburgh's Royal Commonwealth Pool hosted five days of diving competitions and culminated with Tom Daley winning Gold in the 10m platform.
Bon Jovi 'Because We Can' European Stadium Tour 2013
Working for one of the biggest promoters in the world, AEG Live, we were tasked with writing the Event Safety Management Plan for the UK leg of the world tour. We attended all SAG's in the lead up to each event ensuring liaison with all relevant authorities and adherence to all licensing conditions. Working closely with the AEG production team we were on site prior to, and during each show facilitating the plan.
Mcfly - Whitehaven Festival Arena 2013
We've worked with McFly on several occasions over the last few years, and also produced many concerts in Whitehaven, but this show, sold out in just a few days, was probably the best. Using a Star Events mobile stage for the first time in Whitehaven, allowed us more flexibility within the venue.
Whitehaven Festival 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013
This event defied belief! The town has a population of 26,000 but every year, another 250,000 descended on the town for the festival. This multi faceted event was a complex event to manage with almost a mile of activity around the picturesque harbour. It featured entertainment stages, tall ships, air displays, a cookery theatre, continental market, fireworks and multiple celebrities.

Highlights have included the Red Arrows (most festivals), Jean Christophe Novelli, Katherine Jenkins and Status Quo.

The festival finally came to an end as a result of concerns from the Police and local authorities that the venue could not cope with the huge numbers of visitors.
London Olympics Opening Ceremony 2012
15,000 square metres of staging - equivalent to 12 Olympic-sized swimming pools; a flying system that can lift 25 tonnes - equivalent to five elephants; 12,956 props, which is more than 100 times more than is used in a West End musical; a million-watt PA system using more than 500 speakers and 50 tonnes of associated sound gear - which is double the amount of speakers than that on the main stage at Glastonbury; 25 containers full of scenery and props and 75 containers of costumes full of 23,000 costumes. Some cast members will wear more than one costume; a cast of 10,000 volunteers.

Our brief was to provide event management and health and safety expertise for one element, the Dove Bikes, performing whilst the Arctic Monkeys played.

One billion people across the world watched the opening ceremony.
